INVITATION OF BIDS The University of the Punjab invites sealed bids from firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2017-18 in appropriate category for below mentioned construction & renovation works. The bid documents are available from date of publication and may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon deposit of a non-refundable fee of Rs.500/- for each work in Habib Bank Ltd., University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Campus in Account No. 18-91 along with the following information/documents: i. Certificate of registration with PEC in Category C-6 or above along with the latest renewal letter. ii. Copy of Registration with Securities & Exchange Commission or Registrar of Firms. iii. Copy of Registration with Income Tax Department. iv. A certificate / affidavit that the firm is not blacklisted by any Govt. /Autonomous Body along with complete profile of the company. Bids must be delivered to the address given below at or before May 02, 2018 on 11:00 hours and bids will be publically opened on the same day on 11:30 hours in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend. All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security of 2% of estimated cost in the form of CDR in favor of Chief Engineer, PU. The bid documents will not be issued on bids opening date. Late bids or bids without CDR in the described amount and format shall be rejected. The University of the Punjab will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.
