General Rules & Regulaons

Residents:

 A current Lake Forest vehicle scker or Lake Forest resident beach permit must be displayed on the vehicle in order to 1381 Kennedy Road access the site. Driver’s licenses will not be used as proof of (Rte. 60) residency.

 Only one trip per day is allowed Summer Hours March 15 - November  Vehicles are to be operated in a safe and responsible 30 manner while on the site Saturdays: 8 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m.  All materials must be deposited in the appropriate Sundays: 9 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. designated areas and as instructed by the aendant (Monday ‐ Friday, Closed)  Please keep children in your vehicle at all mes while

 Christmas Day Non‐compliance with the established Rules & Regulaons of the facility may result in the assistance of the Lake Forest Police Department. All City employees are authorized to call a user’s aenon to these Rules & Regulaons.

 Newspapers  Removal of compost material and wood chips is unlimited while the supply lasts  Phone Books  Removal of processed compost material is  Paper Shopping Bags limited to four (4) ‐ 30 galloon containers  Chip Board per resident per day  Magazines/Catalogs  Removal of compost material and wood  Office Paper chips must be by hand

 Cardboard Boxes (flat)  Compost material and wood chips are located on the paved drop‐off area only.  Junk Mail Material elsewhere is not available to  Aluminum/Tin Cans residents

 Glass Boles/Jars (brown, green, blue, clear)  All brush, leaves and grass must be placed in  Plasc /Beverage Containers (labeled the designated yard waste area

#1‐5 and #7). Items labeled #6 (including  Plasc bags and planng trays may not be Styrofoam) are not recyclable. discarded with yard waste Non‐Recyclable Items  Tree trunks, large branches, stumps and root balls larger than six inches in diameter  Window Glass/Mirrors are prohibited

Residents who need to dispose of materials not accepted at this facility should make arrangements with the following suggested alternave disposal services or contact the Public Works Department, Monday ‐ Friday, 8 a.m. ‐ 4:30 p.m. at 847‐615‐4264 for further informaon.
