Sunday 28 July 2019 Matters from Race 20: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations See below. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed During the Race the Stewards decided to take no further action in relation to the following Incidents because neither Driver was found to be wholly or predominately to blame: • The incident involving contact between Car 99, Anton de Pasquale, and Car 12, Fabian Coulthard, at Turn 4 on Lap 8; • The incident involving contact between Car 34, Michael Caruso, and Car 22, James Courtney, at Turn 5 on Lap 8. Following a post-race DRD investigation and an admission of a breach of Rule D25.6.1.4 (Refuelling Tower) and of the Authorised Representative briefing instructions, by each of the following Teams, the Stewards imposed the penalty of the Loss of 50 Teams Championship Points and a fine of $10,000, $5000 of which is suspended until 31 December 2019: • Red Bull Holden Racing Team; • Tickford Racing 1; and • Tickford Racing 2. Following a post-race DRD investigation and admission of a breach of the End of Race Procedures for Race 20 (burnouts past the nominated points) by Car 17, Scott McLaughlin, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a fine of $3000 on Scott McLaughlin. Following a post-race DRD investigation and admission of a breach of Rule E6.8.2 (non-permitted item on the podium) by Car 17, Scott McLaughlin, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a fine of $10,000 on Scott McLaughlin. Matters from Qualifying for Race 20: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations See below. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed For causing the Red Flag to be displayed, the fastest lap of Car 21, Macauley Jones, was deleted and the Car not permitted to take further part in the session (Rule D6.1.11). Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards imposed a 15 second Time Penalty on Car 35, Todd Hazlewood, for the incident involving contact with Car 99, Anton de Pasquale, at Turn 2 on Lap 37. After reviewing the incident involving contact between Car 22, James Courtney, and Car 14, Tim Slade, with the DSA (including Hawkeye footage and information from Supercars Technical) the Stewards decided not to take any further action regarding the incident. Matters from Qualifying for Race 19: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations See below. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed Following a post-session DRD investigation, including a review of HawkEye vision, Car #8 was observed to conduct a practice start outside of the area designated in the Competitor’s and Driver’s Briefing Instructions. Following an admission of a breach of the Rules by the Competitor, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a fine of $1000, $500 of which is suspended until 31 December 2019. Matters from Race 18: The Stewards convened a hearing and summonsed the Team regarding the incident involving a fire that happened at Car #8’s Pit Stop during Race 18 (Townsville, Sunday 7 July 2019). The DRD presented to the Stewards his investigative report, which contains his determination that there is no evidence to establish a breach of the Rules occurred. The Stewards accepted the DRD’s determination and decided not to take any further action in relation to the incident. Friday 26 July 2019 Matters from Practice 1 - 2: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations There were no DRD determinations. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed There were no penalties issued. Sunday 23rd August 2020 Matters from Race 18: Race Director Incident Determinations During the Race the RD conducted an investigation at the request of Triple Eight Race Engineering into an Incident at Turn 4 on Lap 35 when Car #18, Mark Winterbottom, overtook Car #97, Shane van Gisbergen, and contact occurred between the two Cars. After reviewing broadcast footage of the Incident and consulting the DSA, the RD determined that there was no evidence of a breach of the Rules by the Driver of Car #18. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards imposed a 5 second Time Penalty on Car #12, Fabian Coulthard, for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) following contact between Car #12 and Car #2, Bryce Fullwood, at Turn 14 on Lap 15 as a result of which Car #2 was pushed wide and Car #12 gained a position. Matters from Race 17: Race Director Incident Determinations There were no determinations. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards issued the following Penalties during the Race in each case for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Shcedule B2 (Careless Driving): - A 5 second Time Penalty on Car #55, Jack le Broq, arising out of an Incident at Turn 6 on Lap 23 when Car #55 locked brakes attempting to overtake Car #15, Rick Kelly, causing contact with Car #15 as a result of which Car #55 gained a position; - A 15 second Time Penalty on Car #25, Chaz Mostert, arising out of an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 34 when Car #25 made contact with Car #8, Nick Percat, as a result of which Car #8 spun and lost positions; - A 15 second Time Penalty on Car #35, Garry Jacobson, arising out of an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 37 when Car #35 made contact with Car #3, Macauley Jones, which caused Car #3 to spin.

The DRD reviewed the Judicial Camera footage from Car #7. No Incident was observed on that review and the DRD determined accordingly not to refer the matter to the Stewards. Following a post-race DRD investigation into a report received from Supercars Technical during the Race, and an admission by Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd, that during its compulsory pit stop, Car 35’s brake lock mechanism was not engaged in compliance with Rule C11.4.2.1, the Stewards imposed a fine of $250 on Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd. Following a post-race DRD investigation (instigated following a request received from Blanchard Racing) and an admission of a breach of the Code of Driving Conduct by Car 2, Bryce Fullwood, the Stewards imposed a penalty of the addition of 5 seconds to the Race Time of Car 2 in Race 19.

Following the Session the DRD conducted an investigation at the request of Chasports Racing Pty Ltd into an allegation that Car #3, Garry Jacobsen, impeded Car #18, Mark Winterbottom, on entry to Turn 1. The DRD was also requested to investigate Car #18’s ‘kerb strike’ and loss of time on the relevant Lap. Following a review of Judicial Camera Footage from Car #18, no Breach of Rules by Car #3 was observed. Following a review of external (HawkEye) vision to corroborate the Supercars Timing System, Car #18 was found to have breached Schedule B2 Article 3.3.1 (left the Race Track at Turn 2 by reason that no part of the Car remains in contact with it).
