All exhibitors and/or guests will be required to have either a daily pass or season pass to enter the fairgrounds and horse show grounds. 2. No refunds on entries. Committee reserves the right to request a cash entry fee. 3. If less than five entries, a Division may be canceled or combined. If the class is combined there will be only ONE payout for the class. 4. Professional Judge will oversee all Divisions. Judge’s or Superintendent’s decision is final. 5. Superintendent reserves the right to refuse any entry they see unfit. 6. All ponies are 14.2 and under. 7. Rider’s age is as of January 1, 2021. 8. No horse can be double entered in any Division. 9. No unsportsmanlike conduct including but not limited to hitting horses will be tolerated and will result in immediate dismissal. 10. Boots with a heel are required. 11. Negative Coggins test required on all equine. Out-of-state equine also must be accompanied by a current Health Permit. You must show paperwork at time of registration. 12. Adult attendant at all times with stallions. 13. No stallions may be shown by a youth (18 years and under). 14. Committee reserves the right to request a cash entry fee. 15. The McHenry County Fair Association, their officers, committees or staff, will not be responsible for accidents, bodily injury or theft. 16. WARNING: Under the Equine Activity Liability Act, each participant who engages in an equine activity expressly assumes the risks of engaging in and legal responsibility for injury, loss or damage to person or property resulting from the risk of equine activities 17. Safety helmets are encouraged but not required. 18. While exhibiting on the McHenry County Fairgrounds, owners of animals in need of additional nutritional supplements or medical attention must let the superintendent know immediately AND have the Fair Veterinarian fill out and sign off on the Veterinarian Treatment Form. Any forced substances used on breed or market animals while on fairground property, must be approved by the Fair Veterinarian. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Each exhibitor is responsible for his/her own feed, bedding, feeders, pails, and manure clean up. Manure is to be put in containers provided by the Fair. Feed and supplies may be brought in between the hours of 6:00am and 8:00am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday via the East Gate with a limit of 30 minutes for parking. Vehicles there longer will be towed at the owner’s expense.
