We employ real, live persons to churn, freeze, steep, knead, and cook wholesome confectionery foods from the highest quality ingredients. Milk and cream is obtained by contented cows close to home, procured from a 1920s family dairy. Fruits are local when in season and regularly preserved for year-round use. Nuts are freshly roasted in South Philadelphia. Chocolate is processed and sourced from Guittard Chocolate Company, founded in San Francisco in 1868. Our rooftop apiary and herb garden at Shane’s supplements honey and spice ingredients. We use natural dyes and flavors wherever possible. Ice cream cones are the greenest food packaging around! All of our paper pails, spoons, napkins, straws and natural cups are biodegradable and will not damage the earth. It will give an overview of what chocolate is all about, the different uses of chocolate and its widespread popularity and how creative entrepreneurs develop plans and systems in creating successful chocolate events and festivals. It will give an insight of current events worldwide and what innovators are doing with this medium. Following this information it will then include how the development stage can be conducted using the double diamond method. How to create innovative ideas and the importance of attractions in such events. This study will be phased in 5 chapters. The first will be the background of research topic, aims and objectives. The second will focus on what chocolate is, from a brief description of the history to the modern use as a cosmetic, some curiosities regarding a particular chocolate tribe and will be explaining the popularity of chocolate and how diverse this food item has become creating many new business niches. At this stage, the information provided should give a clear picture of the importance of chocolate and why people are attracted to it, hence creating the need to know and discover more, which is the key factor why people attend such events.
