APRIL 29 AGENDA 9:00 AM Welcome & Approval of Minutes ………………….…...... ………………….…..Pitt Grewe ● The committee will vote to approve minutes from May 7 and May 8, 2020 (2020 grant scoring meeting). ● The review committee will vote to approve minutes from April 5, 2021 (2021 pre-scoring meeting) Review of Agenda and Procedures ● Tara McKee, India Nielsen Barfuss, and Patrick Morrison will explain the scoring procedure and the agenda ● The Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant Advisory Committee will review, discuss, and vote on the project applications that seek funding from the grant programs (see attached list) ○ If a motion is made, the committee may vote to review only the applications that received scores above a minimum level. ○ The committee will present and discuss the strengths, weaknesses, funding amounts, and summaries of each application. The committee will vote on the amount of funding awarded to the project. ○ The committee will review, discuss, etc. in this order: ■ Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant (UORG) ■ Mini-UORG ■ UORG Regional Asset Tier ■ Classroom Grant ■ Recreation Restoration Infrastructure ○ The Board will break for lunch, and as needed.
1:30-3:55 PM - Presentations for the UORG Regional Asset Tier UORG Regional Asset Tier application presentations will be made in turn by the following entities: Herriman City, Utah State University, Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation, Richfeld City, American Fork City, Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife, Logan City, Millcreek City, Provo City Parks and Recreation, Zion National Park Forever Project.
