GERRY P EVANS MEMORIAL CYMRU TRIAL Run alongside the CYMRU BACH CLUBMANS TRIAL SATURDAY 20th JULY 2019 SUV CLASS

For this event we have been asked to trial (no pun intended) a new class – open to SUV type vehicles. This will be a “Taster event” – so will not count for overall placings, but there will be class awards. No competition licence or club membership is required – have fun and see how you compare against the usual Car Trials cars. The Car trials regulations found in the Cymru documents above will apply with the following changes: [1] 4-wheel-drive is permitted [2] open to SUV cars [3] classes for 2-wheel-drive and 4-wheel-drive [4] no vehicles with low-range gearboxes [5] No mud terrain tyres allowed, only mild all-terrain tyres [6] No off-road specials with lift kits, difflocks or other modifications to enhance clearance or grip levels. [7] Vehicles may be allowed a shunt on tighter sections but it is to be mutually agreed with competitors in class and marshal on section. [8] Normal road level tyre pressures to be maintained, +/- 3psi [9] Organisers discretion as to whether or not a vehicle qualifies for SUV class. Reference to Wikipedia may be used!
