Friuli, a largely untouched region on the north-eastern edge of Italy, has a finely woven network of adventurous little roads.

To search the best in the wild Friuli was our claim. Already on the journey from Brixen over many small Dolomite (programme subject to change) passes to the base hotel, we ride through the monumental Dolomite mountains, a rock theatre of the very first order. But this is only the beginning of a very special alpine journey. The small Friuli region offers untouched nature in many areas, making it a veritable adventure playground for endurists. The Panoramica delle Vette, ascents to Monte Paularo and Monte Terzo are just some of the highlights that can only be reached on gravelled paths.

Passing alpine pastures, very close to the clouds, the paths below the mighty mountains sometimes wind over the green border to Austria. Lonely mountain roads for explorers and adventurers and never-ending curves make this tour a varied experience that requires a certain amount of experience. But even those who want to skip the gravel altogether will get their money's worth on the no less beautiful road variant and can enjoy the pure riding fun extensively. The winding detour to Slovenia in the border region of the Karawanken is particularly attractive and one of the many highlights.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Meeting point in Brixen in the evening.

Day 2: Ride through the Dolomites to the base hotel near Arta Terme.

3rd-5th day: day tours without luggage in the destination area

Day 6: Return journey to Brixen, overnight stay

Prerequisites:

On-/Offroad: The motorcycle should be safely controlled on winding roads, especially in hairpin turns. Off-road experience is required, very good motorcycle control on unpaved paths, also along precipices, is a prerequisite. The tour is also suitable for big enduros, new enduro tires are absolutely necessary for this tour.

Special features: Depending on the date, the tour can be booked as a pure road tour or as an on-road/off-road tour with a gravel component.
