Geography was one of the sciences that has Accepted: 23.04.2020 studied tourism since it became a phenomenon of human existence and has initiated an innovatory scientific direction, that is tourism geography. We researched the theoretical approaches to the definition of the notion tourism geography, tourism studies and tourismology as integral notions in the scientific discourse regarding the study and research on tourism. We determined the main legal, organizational, natural, socio-economic, humanitarian and other basics of the geography of tourism which are orientated at provision of dynamic development in the sphere in general. Modern traditions and tendencies of the European school of tourism studies, novel scientific orientations in the block of adjacent disciplines were evaluated and the authors` interpretation of the functional structure of the direction “Tourism geography” are presented. We determined the integral character of the theory of tourism geography with its characteristic structural changes due to the multi-functionality of scientific directions, because tourism geography is a complex natural- ecological-socio-economic system which covers geographical, ecological, socio-cultural, economic, political, organization-legal and other aspects, processes and phenomena

Srđan Tunić STAW BLGRD - Street Art Walks Belgrade, Serbia [email protected], srdjantunic.wordpress.com Abstract Since the emergence of the global contemporary graffiti and street art, urban spaces have become filled with a variety of techniques and art pieces, whether as a beautification method, commemorative and community art, or even activism. Ecology has also been a small part of this, with growing concern over our environment’s health (as well as our own), disappearing living species and habitats, and trying to imagine a better, less destructive humankind (see: Arrieta, 2014). But, how can this art - based mostly on aerosol spray cans and thus not very eco-friendly - in urban spaces contribute to ecological awareness? Do nature, animal and plant motifs pave a way towards understanding the environment, or simply serve as aesthetic statements? This paper will examine these questions with the example of Belgrade, Serbia, and several local (but also global) practices. This text is based on ongoing research as part of Street Art Walks Belgrade project (STAW BLGRD) and interviews with a group of artists. This mural is located at the Police Headquarters in ITO, connecting thousands of citizens who get to view this iconic artwork on a daily basis. HAND PAINTED TYPE MURAL BY INDIAN SIGN PAINTERS • TIHAR JAIL Tihar Jail is the largest prison complex in Asia, with over 11,000 prisoners. India’s longest mural - 968 metres - was painted on the boundary wall of Tihar Jail with the help of several sign painters from India, who spent a fortnight painting verses of a poem: Chardiwari - written by one of the women inmates. Now, we’re launching an art initiative with no practical function, instead it’s all about evoking emotions. Creative Leader Henrik Most explains the idea behind IKEA Art Events: - Normally you could say that art has a limitation. That it’s for the few, with a lot of money, or something you see in museums and galleries. But we think that art belongs in people’s homes. And with these collections, art becomes accessible for a lot of people - you don’t need to be wealthy to buy something unique. For this years’ collection, we invited 12 street artists from around the world to create 12 unique street art posters for IKEA. The global launch is 1 April 2015, and since it’s a limited collection the posters might sell out very quickly. Our aim is that the different styles and expressions will create a better everyday life - for everyone who loves great art.     Roman Adrian Roman Cybriwsky Kyiv, Ukraine is a pioneering case study of urban change from socialism to the hard edge of a market economy after the Soviet collapse. It looks in detail at the changing social geography of the city, and on critical problems such as corruption, social inequality, sex tourism, and destruction of historical ambience by greedy developers. The book is based on fieldwork and an insider’s knowledge of the city, and is engagingly written. Roman Adrian Cybriwsky is Professor of Geography and Urban Studies at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA, and former Ukraine Kyiv, Fulbright Scholar at the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy.
