ABSTRACT
This research aims to I)study the factors affecting operational motivation of Siam City Bank Public Co. Ltd. employees in the eastern region of Thailand, 2) compare the factors affecting their operational motivation. The 196 samples were selected by stratified random sampling from 285 populations of Siam City Bank Public Co. Ltd. employees in the area offices 15, 16, and 17 in the eastern region of Thailand. The instrument employed was a questionnaire designed by the researcher with a reliability value of 0.97 and approved by 5 experts. The data was analyzed by a ready- made program to calculate percentage, mean (:), standard deviation (S.D.), F-test, and Fisher's LSD. The findings showed that: 1. the overall factors affecting operational motivation of Siam City Bank Publk Co. Ltd. employees in the eastern region of Thailand were rated moderately. The mothation factors which were rated at a high level were ranged in descending orders as follows: 1) responsibility, 2) respectability, 3) work success, 4) advancement, and 5) work characteristics.
