For and on behalf of the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir state , fresh e-tenders are invited from experienced, reputed & registered Firms/Contractors/Original Equipment Manufacturers for the following work:

Cost of Tender Earnest Validity of NAME OF WORK Document Money Offer Providing, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 33 KV 630 Amp, porcelain clad vacuum circuit breaker and control panel (for feeder & transformer Rs.1500.00 0.30Lac. 180 days protection) for Water Supply Scheme, Nishat (Dalbund), Srinagar. The complete document, comprising of 'NIT', 'TENDER DOCUMENT' & 'BOQ' can be seen/downloaded from the website www.jktenders.gov.in from 05.04.2013, 10.00 A.M to 11.04.2013, 4.00 PM. The cost of 'Tender Documents' shall be furnished in the shape of Demand Draft, drawn in favour of the Executive Engineer, PHE Mechanical Division, Srinagar, from a scheduled Bank having a Branch in Srinagar. The earnest money in the shape of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR/FDR), or Bank Guarantee for the stipulated amount of Rs.30,000/= (Rupees Thirty Thousand) only, issued by a scheduled Bank having a branch in Srinagar City, shall be pledged to the Executive Engineer PHE Mechanical Division, Srinagar. No concession shall be entertained in this regard irrespective of the fact whether the Firm (Intending Bidder) is registered with DGS&D/Small Scale Industries Corporation etc. for the equipment/job quoted for. Earnest Money in case of successful bidder shall be retained by the Department as security. Only those Firms shall be qualified to quote for the job who shall furnish the self attested copies of the following documents: • Sales Tax Registration Certificate with TIN. • Sales Tax Clearance Certificates or Sales Tax Return on Form ‘64’ of the latest quarter. • Experience Certificate of having successfully executed works of similar nature valuing not less than Rs.3.00 lacs. issued by a Competent Authority .

TENDERS SUBMITTED WITHOUT ANY OF THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS SHALL NOT BE ENTERTAINED AT ALL. THE COMPLETE TENDERING PROCESS SHALL BE ONLINE. The bids shall be submitted in electronic format on the website www.jktenders.gov.in from 13.04.2013 (10 AM) to 12.04.2013, (4.00 PM). The hard copies of 'Technical Bid' (Cover-I), Demand Draft (cost of tender Document) and Earnest Money shall be submitted in the Office of the Executive Engineer PHE

Mechanical Divisionup to 12.04.2013 (2.00 PM). Cover-II (BOQ) shall be submitted on-line only. The bids uploaded on the website up to due date and time will be opened on the time and date (given in the list of important dates), in the Office of Executive Engineer PHE Mechanical Division, Srinagar, in presence of the bidders who wish to attend. In case Offices happen to be closed on the scheduled date of opening due to holiday, or any other reason, the bids will be opened on the next working day at the scheduled time and venue. Tech nical bids shall be opened online in the Office of the Executive Engineer PHE Mechanical Division, ParsiBagh, Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar on 16.04.2013 at 11.00 AM. The date and time of opening of BOQ (Price Bid) shall be notified on Web Site www.jktenders.gov.in and the bidders will automatically get notified through an e-mail message on their e-mail address. The BOQ (Price Bid) of qualified bidders shall be opened online on the same website in the Office of Executive Engineer PHE Mechanical Division, Srinagar. The bids for the work shall remain valid for a period of 180 days from the date of opening of 'Price Bids-BOQ'.
