The long list of great artist playing at Tinderbox this June, is now joined by no less than four major international names and two artists who are right in front of their international breakthrough.
Major Lazer, one of the most interesting and trendsetting electronic projects, led by the American DJ and producer Diplo. Diplo is also known for his collaboration with MØ on the single "XXX 88". With two albums under their belt, and reportedly two albums on the way in 2015, Major Lazer is a highly productive collective. Diplo and friends have worked with everything from Pharell to Beyoncé, and will not be less in 2015, where Gwen Stefani and Ellie Goulding has already been confirmed for the upcoming albums. Major Lazer is a guarantor of an explosive and a mind blowing show. We guarantee that you cannot stand still when Major Lazer enters the stage Tinderbox in June.
It is not wrong to call Emeli Sandé one of the largest stars at the international pop scene. She broke through already in 2011 with the single "Heaven", she received the Brit Awards Critics Choice Award in 2012, spend an impressive 7 weeks on the English sales charts no. 1 spot with her debut album "Our Version of Events", which was the best selling album in the UK in 2012 with over 1 million copies sold. Her singles "Heaven", "Next To Me" and "My kind of love" are international top sellers. New album on the way. It is one of pop big voices guests Tinderbox summer.
Although Black Rebel Motorcycle Club formed in 1998 in San Francisco, they got a Danish touch when playing at Tinderbox this summer. The former Raveonettes drummer
Leah Shapiro is in fact behind the drums, and she has been since 2008. The band has reinvented itself with new energy on the two latest albums "Beat The Devil Tattoo” from 2010 and especially "Specter from the Feast". Trendsetting can certainly be labelled at James Blake, he burst onto the international scene when he released his debut album in 2011. The six-piece band, which, incidentally, has three siblings in the band, comes from Brisbane Australia where they also topped the charts. New and fresh indie pop from down under, which plays Friday at Tinderbox.
Go Go Berlin has with their debut album "New Gold" cemented themselves as one of Denmark's biggest rock acts with international potential. They have played 300 concerts in more than 10 countries on 3 continents, where they have taken the big stages at festivals and clubs. Playing Saturday.
