Re: Trans Mountain Pipeline ULC (“Trans Mountain”) Trans Mountain Expansion Project (“Project”) File OF-Fac-Oil-T260-2013-03 17 Hearing Order MH-051-2018 (“Hearing Order”) Sub-Segment 5.4 – Notification Confirmation of Service and Publication

Pursuant to sections 2.6 and 2.7 of the Hearing Order, Trans Mountain was directed to provide a copy of the Hearing Order (including its appendices and cover letter) by 4:00 pm MT on July 12, 2018 to: (1) the Landowner and, (2) all Aboriginal groups who were provided a copy of the PPBoR for Sub-segment 5.4 and any additional Aboriginal groups that Trans Mountain is presently consulting with in the areas of Sub-segment 5.4, which Aboriginal Groups are listed in Appendix B. Section 2.6 of the Hearing Order also required Trans Mountain to place the Hearing Order (including its appendices and cover letter) on its website by 4:00 pm MT on July 12, 2018 and to publish a notice of detailed route hearing in certain specified publications, which are listed in Appendix C, no later than July 12, 2018.

Trans Mountain confirms that each notification is complete, and the above-noted requirements were satisfied within the required timelines, with the exception of the Splatsin First Nation. Trans Mountain attempted to serve the Splatsin First Nation by email, however, the emails were undeliverable. As a result, Trans Mountain sent hardcopies of the documents, which were received by the Splatsin First Nation on July 16, 2018.

The date that notification was completed, and method of notification is provided in the following appendices: Appendix A – Landowner; Appendix B – Aboriginal Groups; and, Appendix C – Publications. Trans Mountain placed the documents on its website on July 5, 2018.
