BP-Husky Refining is investing our energy in being a great neighbor while making great products. We make the gasoline that gets you to work, and the jet fuel that takes you on vacation. A Refined Relationship

In early 2008, BP and Husky Energy of Canada formed two independent 50/50 joint ventures

and the Toledo Refinery began a new era under a new name – BP-Husky Refining LLC.

As a result of the joint ventures, BP acquired a 50 percent interest in Husky’s Sunrise

A Clean Environment

BP-Husky Refining recognizes the importance of protecting our environment. We maintain

a staff of full-time professionals who monitor our processes and the air, water and land

around the Refinery. They are responsible for reporting environmental data to local, state

and federal agencies and for developing and implementing plans to ensure compliance

with regulations.

Our certification under the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard

demands we strive for continuous improvement. Since 2000, we have reduced our

regulated air emissions by 42 percent and overall water emissions by 30 percent.
