CROATIA WEEK 4: SEPTEMBER 25 TO OCTOBER 2, 2021 MONTENEGRO, A JEWEL IN THE ADRIATIC

Explore Montenegro with us! The country of Montenegro is not yet overrun by American sailors. We were one of the first to cross-borders from Croatia to Montenegro with flotillas and it was worth it!

After leaving Dubrovnik, we clear out of Croatia in the small but charming port of Cavtat and head out, along the coast, to Montenegro where we clear customs in Zelenika.

Plenty of exciting experiences await you in Montenegro. Swim in a blue cave, anchor out for the night in the quiet anchorage of Bigova and enjoy a delicious dinner ashore.

Visit the most luxurious yacht marina in the Mediterranean at Porto Montenegro, discover the Perast island with its historic church of St. Mary of the Rocks and spend the night in the medieval city of Kotor and climb up the mountain to its fortress; an arduous climb but worth it. A spectacular panorama rewards the efforts of the adventurous hiker.

During our sailing trip, you will see brand new marinas, medieval monasteries, abandoned Cold War military installations.

In the picturesque city of Cavtat with its wonderful anchorage, we will clear out of Croatia, and back in. We will spend our last night in Cavtat before heading back to Dubrovnik.

These trips will be on monohulls and catamarans. The cost per person is $1,750.00 on a monohull and $1,950.00 on a catamaran and includes the flotilla fee, a welcome cocktail on the Saturday before the departure and a welcome souvenir, courtesy of Med Sailing Adventures.
