Placement and Maintenance T1 Hex Wrench x 1 Your Bevel Desk is designed for indoor use on level floors. Clean wood and metal parts with a damp cloth. Your Bevel desk's top surface features Forbo H1 Wooden Dowel x 35 mm Furniture Linoleum and can be cleaned using an eco-friendly household x 16 cleaner. Rinse and dry with a damp cloth. H2 Steel Dowel x 52mm x 8

Bevel is engineered for easy assembly. Carefully follow this procedure to H3 Set Screw x 8 prevent any damage. Do not use power tools for assembly of this product.

DO NOT thread more than a few clockwise turns!

Step 3 - Attach hardware to legs Using either a slotted or Phillips screwdriver, thread 4 steel dowels H2 into the threaded inserts on the 2 leg frames as shown. H2

BEVEL 6743 bdiusa.com 2 DESK [email protected] Step 4 - Insert hardware into modesty panel Insert the 4 barrel housings H4 into the 4 holes on the face of the modesty panel C3. Align the through hole on the side of the barrel housing with the hole on the edge of the panel as shown. Tap 4 wooden dowels H1 into 4 holes on side of modesty panel C3 with a small mallet or hammer.

Step 5 - Attach modesty panel to leg frames Position modesty panel C3 with 2 notches as shown. Connect the leg frames to the modesty panel and tighten the 4 set screws H3 using a slotted screwdriver as shown. Please note, if you want the set screw hardware to be hidden from view in the back, you can turn the modesty panel around so that the set screw hardware is facing towards the front of the desk. Tap 2 wooden dowels H1 into 2 holes on each leg frame with a small mallet or hammer.

H1 BEVEL 6743 bdiusa.com 3 DESK [email protected] Step 6 - Attach Cord Wraps (Optional) Position the desk top C2 upside down. Attach 2 cord wraps H8 to the back side of the bottom of the desk using 4 ﬂathead wood screws H5 and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 7 - Install base Position the desk top C2 upside down. Carefully position the base over the desk (with modesty panel towards the back edge) until the base aligns and the wooden dowels H1 drop into the outermost holes. Attach the base to the bottom of the desk using 4 screws H6 and tighten with hex wrench T1.

C2 BEVEL 6743 bdiusa.com 4 DESK [email protected] Step 8 -Determine drawer location The drawer can be positioned on either the left hand or right hand side of the desk. Determine which side you prefer and then attach the drawer in the area indicated below. Please note the drawer will flip from one side to the other as you stand the desk up.

Step 9 - Install drawer rails Tap 4 wooden dowels H1 into the inner holes on the top edge of the left and right drawer rails A2 & A3.

Position the left and right drawer rails as shown (angled edge in back and drawer runners facing inward) and attach with 4 screws H6. Tighten with hex wrench T1.

BEVEL 6743 bdiusa.com 6 DESK [email protected] Step 10 - Install drawer retainers Install the 2 drawer retainers H7 as shown using ﬂathead screws H5 and a Phillips screwdriver. The drawer retainer prevents the drawer from pulling out. If you need to remove the drawer to route cords, you can reach your hand into the drawer and push the drawer retailers upward while pulling the drawer forward.

Step 11 - Install backstop hardware Thread 4 steel dowels H2 into the threaded inserts on the backstop panel C1.

BEVEL 6743 bdiusa.com 7 DESK [email protected] Step 11 - Install back stop Position the desk as shown with front edge on the floor. Tap 4 wooden dowels H1 into the larger holes along the back edge of the desk. Insert 4 barrel housings H4 inside the holes along the back underside of the desk top panel C2. Make sure the hole in the side of the barrel housing points straight up. Position the back stop as shown and tighten 4 set screws with a slotted screwdriver to secure.

BEVEL 6743 bdiusa.com 8 DESK [email protected] Step 12 - Stand up / install drawer / install metal tray / wire management With help from another person, carefully lift and rotate your Bevel desk onto its feet. Insert the drawer A3 and position the metal tray C7 onto the back stop. Use the mouse holes on the desk top, drawer back, and modesty panel to route your cords. Use the cord wraps on the back of the desk to wrap excess cords.
