Harris is one of 26 players on the preseason squad. He’s one of 18 returners from the 2018 All-CIAA Football Team. Last year, Harris was an All-CIAA First Team selection as well as an All-CIAA Rookie Team member. He led the Falcons in tackles as a freshman (58) and ranked ninth in the CIAA in tackles per game (6.4). GARRIS AMONG AFCA GOOD WORKS TEAM NOMINEES Defensive back Roy Garris, Jr. (Sr./Raleigh, NC) of Saint Augustine’s University was named a nominee for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Football Team on July 16. Garris is one of 137 student-athletes nominated by their respective sports information CIAA STANDINGS directors. The Allstate Good Works Team will be announced in September, with 22 Northern Division Conf. Ovr. student-athletes and an honorary coach being selected by a voting panel of former Bowie State 0-0 1-0 Good Works Team members and well-known media personalities.
