3 Power Carts and Rental Clubs

Players will be advised of course conditions and obey the golf car rules set out on the tournament day.

Unfortunately over the past few years damage to rental equipment has become a problem. Because of this, all tournaments with rented golf cars and/or clubs will be held responsible for damage to these items.

Golf Course Etiquette

Players are asked to repair ball marks, replace divots and rake bunkers. All power carts and pull carts are to be kept off tee boxes and greens. Please respect other golfers and refrain from inappropriate language on the golf course and clubhouse facilities.

Pace of Play

Slow play is still the #1 problem at most golf clubs today. In-group outings, there is often a mix of “avid golfers” and “novice golfers”, so we have taken the necessary steps to help avoid slow play.

Our marshals have been instructed to enforce a 4.5-hour pace of play through the following procedures:

If a group begins to fall behind, the marshal will ask them to pick up the pace. If a group falls a full par 4 behind and another group is directly behind them, they will be asked to move to the forward tees or to pick up their ball(s) and move to the next hole. The marshal will make this decision based on careful observation on how long the group has been behind and if they are making any progress. If the group continues to have trouble keeping up to the pace of play, they will be asked to skip as many holes as necessary to get back into position. There are no refunds for golfers required to skip holes because of slow play.

Consumption of Alcohol

Due to MLCC regulations, the Pinawa Golf & Country Club must supply all alcoholic beverages.

Private Coolers are NOT Permitted

Please ensure the golfers in your group are aware of our Tournament Rules & Regulations to prevent any problems or embarrassment.
