UTZ Inspiration On-pack Communication Which UTZ logo?

There are two categories of logos available:

• The UTZ corporate logo, which does not include the word ‘Certified’ and which can be used for off-pack communication when talking about the collaboration with the UTZ organization.

• The UTZ labeling logo, which includes the word ‘Certified’. The labeling logo is applicable for on-pack and off-pack communication regarding the certified product. How to label products?

Credibility, transparency and (consumer) trust are key to our label

On pack UTZ labeling consists of 4 elements: • Labeling logo • Claim (content/purchase/commitment) • Explanatory text about UTZ (different sizes) • Website reference

Use of logo without further explanation is not allowed. Labeling procedure

All guidance documents related to the labeling procedure are available in the UTZ resource library.

• Package designs must be submitted prior to production to UTZ via the online labeling approval system in the ‘Good Inside Portal’ (www.goodinsideportal.org). • UTZ will respond within 5 working days after the package designs have been submitted. Please note: the first reaction might be a change. • When the design is approved by UTZ an official approval letter with a validity of 365 days will be available to download from the brand owner’s and supplier’s account in the Good Inside portal. • Packages can only be printed after official approval from UTZ.
