Obwohl die schwedischen Metal-Visionäre von SOILWORK noch immer mit ihrem aktuellen Meisterwerk »The Ride Majestic« unterwegs sind, hat das Sextett ein echtes Muss für seine Fans zusammengestellt.

Die Ansammlung besonderer Raritäten unter dem Banner »Death Resonance« ist bei weitem keine lieblose Best-Of-Compilation, sondern liefert zwei brandneue Songs, sowie nur schwer erhältliche Tracks aus den letzten elf Jahren – bishin zu ihrem Opus Magnum »«.

Das düstere und überaus passende Cover wurde von -Gitarrist Mircea Gabriel Eftemie (, CARCASS, SCAR SYMMTERY, ) entworfen.

Sänger Björn "Speed" Strid kommentiert: "The cover for »Death Resonance« is made by Mircea Eftemie and in many ways he managed to capture what we went through while recording »The Ride Majestic«: the sorrow, the close encounter with death, the aftermath and also the existential cogitation that came with it. It links those together, even though »Death Resonance« contains unreleased material from 2005 and forward. The cover almost seems like a link between life and death and not only captures where the band is right now, but also where we've been and what lies ahead."

Neben über 60 Minuten neuer und rarer SOILWORK-Klänge, bietet »Death Resonance« außerdem Liner Notes der Band sowie unveröffentlichte Promo- und Live-Fotos aus der genannten Ära.
