Gators conduct surf qualification

MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Amphibious assault vehicles transporting Marines with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, traveled 500 meters offshore and stopped in the middle of the waves. Approximately 10 Marines from each vehicle jumped into the water and swam back to shore during an annual surf qualification here, Sept 6. Gators make amphibious landing at beach for fun
