Being a mentor is so much fun! The staff support Programs us with free activity ideas, and as a mentor community we share Paulette Warembourg, Office Manager ideas too. For me, the time I spend with my mentee is not a 38 Notre Dame Mission Volunteers AmeriCorps Members chore—it’s a delight. Being a mentor takes me right back to those 1 AmeriCorps Vista fun times when my kids were young. It’s so rewarding.
