“Echolands Winery reflects a life-long love affair with flavor and with the effects of alcohol, however wrong it may be to admit that.” – Doug Frost, MW, MS, co-owner

Seven Hills Vineyard Red Wine 2018 Walla Walla Valley AVA 40% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot 100 Definitely a Bordeaux blend, but with dramatic character from the famed Seven Hills Vineyard of Washington’s Walla Walla Valley. Doug Frost’s style is to control the alcohol leading to an enjoyable “now” and cellarable experience later.

Syrah ‘Les Collines’ 2018 Walla Walla Valley AVA 98% Syrah and 2% Viognier, both from Les Collines 80 Possibly the most famous Syrah vineyard in Washington, Les Collines, is the source for this expression of the land, the terroir and to the tradition of blending a small amount of Viognier into stunning Syrah. As it is true with their Bordeaux blend above, the vineyard lets you know what style of wine will be the final result.

“In truth, all wine is an echo of its landscape, of the vines planted there, and the sound that they make in the form of their fruits.” – Doug Frost, MW, MS, co-owner

The Crane Assembly By David Phinney, Winemaker

Dr. George Beldon Crane first established grapes on this site in 1885, making it one of the oldest vineyards in the Napa Valley. Currently eight acres are in production including four acres containing a mixture of Crane’s original plantings with some newer (1930s) vines. These four acres have been continuously farmed for over 130 years. David Phinney (founder of Orin Swift) bought these eight acres in 2012.

The Crane Assembly Disciples Napa Valley Red Wine 2018 49% Old Vine Zinfandel, 19% Petite Sirah, 10% Charbono, 9% Grenache, 7% Syrah, 6% Merlot 15.7% alcohol 88 Complex from the first taste that carry through to the palate, lush, big, rich and brawny. The finish is lingering and persistent. Balanced and inviting, concentrated. Think strawberry preserves and lavender aromas. Rich, earthy, spicy, tart raspberries, long dusty finish, Caramelized sugars, luscious.

“Age is just a number. It’s totally irrelevant unless, of course, you happen to be a bottle of wine.” – Joan Collins
