FREE ADMISSION Concerts begin at 7:00 PM unless otherwise noted. Please see schedule. The Smithtown Recreation Department presents our Summer Concert Series beginning on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Please check schedule, concerts may begin at different times. All residents are welcome to attend the summer concerts on Sunday evenings at Hoyt Farm Park in Commack. Bring chairs, picnic dinners and enjoy the show. This year, as in the past, we have reached out for some big- time shows. New this year is Any Way You Want It - Journey Tribute Band and Cold Spring Harbor Band - Billy Joel Tribute, while we have returning favorite, Six Gun. Our outdoor movie feature is STAR WARS:THE FORCE AWAKENS . Check our website, Smithtownny.gov, Newsday, Smithtown News and Smithtown Messenger for scheduled dates. If a concert must be canceled, it will be posted on WMJC FM (94.3). Please go to www.wbli.com, click on Event Guide, then click on Community Corner and scroll down to our Concert schedule. SUN., JULY 10 BILLBOARD LIVE-ROCK HITS OF 70’s Billboard Live is a Suffolk based 70’s rock band. A band who’s goal is to take you back to the greatest moments of your past through song....nostalgia, pure and simple.

SUN., JULY 17 DENICE GIVEN BAND Country

Denice Given Band is a working Port Jeff Village NY based group who have been performing for over 2 decades all over the tristate area. Performing everything from Jazz Standards to Classic Rock & Disco to Lady Gaga and everything in between.

SUN., JULY 24 COLD SPRING HARBOR-Billy Joel Tribute

Pat Farrell heads up the Billy Joel Tribute band on piano and lead vocals taking you on an entertaining and chronological journey through the music and life of Billy Joel. He recorded a solo album with Billy Joel Band members and has performed on Dr. Oz, Fox Morning Show, QVC and many other venues.

SUN., JULY 31 LI Classic Country Entertainment/Six Gun Country

Classic Country (6PM) is a team of Line and Partner Dance Instructors, DJ’s and Dancers. Our goal is to spread the love and passion that we have for country line dancing. It can be done by anyone regardless of age or skillset, and releases endorphins making it not only fun, but a healthy activity. SixGun (7PM) “COUNTRY WITH A KICK” is the tri-state area’s premier Country/Rock band. Tight harmonies and hot leads have become their trademark.

The sound of the legendary band, JOURNEY. Bill Giangrande and Mathew Klein give it their all to give you the best replication of Steve Perry and Neal Schon that’s out there. Ambrosia has recently rocked the Jimmy Fallon show and has shown it’s musical versatility by playing a progressive set of music with a romantic soul. They have garnered 5 Grammy nominations, 5 hit singles and the admiration and respect of the musical community. CONCERT RAIN DATE SUNDAY, AUGUST 21 35 KIDS KONCERT FREE ADMISSION The Smithtown Recreation Department presents its concert program for children in elementary grades. The program will feature one special show on Friday night this summer at Hoyt Farm Park in Commack. The Kids Koncert is held from 7:30 - 9:00 PM. All residents are welcome to attend. Parents are always welcome. The Rain date for this concert is Friday, July 15.

Rain Date: Friday, August 5 The Smithtown Recreation Department continues to bring you outstanding movie selections. Each year we have presented a Big Screen Outdoor Movie event featuring popular hits such as Kung Fu Panda and Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs as well as classics, such as The Wizard of Oz. Our movie takes place at Hoyt Farm on a giant 15’ x 20’ movie screen. This is a flashback to the old drive-in movie theater. Don’t miss it!
