THE RACE FOR THE WHITE HOUSE: FROM THE MESS OBAMA INHERITED TO ONE HE OWNS

Gil Troy

The 2012 US presidential campaign is shaping up to be harsh and historic, with lots of hysterics. President is entering into it in a surprisingly weakened state, while Republicans have proved surprisingly resistant to their lead candidate throughout the “invisible primary,” . Reporters will focus on the candidates’ ups and downs, but take note of the issues emerging and the ritual unfolding, as Americans adhere to their democratic traditions, even during this devastating recession.
