Over the past few years, I've developed a passion for pickleball. As we've played in our local area and traveled for some tournament play we've met some great people. Pickleball is a great social sport while also being competitive. Along with some of our friends, we want to unite our passion for pickleball with our passion for those we serve through The Joy House. With that in mind, we're planning our first-ever Joy House pickleball tournament fundraiser.

Our tournament name is Jammin for Joy. We want this to be a fun experience for all our participants as we raise money to support The Joy House. All funds raised will be used to continue bringing Christ's hope and healing to those we serve through our Teen Residential Program and Community Counseling Center. Through our Teen Residential Program, we've been privileged to see many teens healed and restored to their families. Some of them have gone on to complete college and many have begun their own families. Through our Counseling Center, we're ministering to 250+ individuals and families each year. We're seeing marriages restored, relationships between parents and kids healed, and many individuals finding freedom from life-controlling issues.

This first year's tournament will be for mixed couples with two different levels of play. For our first session in the morning, we will have 3.0 level from 9:00 to 11:00, we'll then have an afternoon session from 12:00 to 2:00 for 3.5+ level. We'll serve lunch from 11:00 to 12:00 for all our participants. Each participant will receive a player bag with a tourney shirt and other items. We'll also be providing door prizes for our participants and an opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a few great items.
