Mission/Overview

The primary purposes of the Joy’s House Junior Board are to raise awareness about Joy’s House’s mission and vision; to increase participating in Joy’s House programs, events, and activities among young professionals aged 20-34; to encourage and generate financial support of Joy’s House; and to provide a platform for growth in leadership and networking opportunities for engaged young professionals in our community.

Requirements

Members are of the Joy’s House Junior Board are expected to:

• Served a two-year term, beginning April 1, 2020 • Attend board meetings every other month (6/year) • Attend major Joy’s House events as possible (i.e., the Annual Gala) • Volunteer at a minimum of one Joy’s House event per year • Participate in/contribute to Joy’s House fundraising efforts

Failure to meet these expectations will result in review of the member’s status on the Junior Board for their following year of service; if there are any potential conflicts with these expectations, please explain upon submission of your application.
