The police and South Oxfordshire District Council have also been tackling underage drinking in Chalgrove by ensuring that local off-licences are abiding by their licences. As a result two off-licences in Chalgrove were forced to close for a Saturday evening. This appears to have had a positive effect in reducing under age drinking in Chalgrove and operations will continue around the area.
