Left to Right in blocks: 2nd Year Boys, 4th Year Boys, 3rd Year Girls, 4th Year Girls, 2nd Year Girls, 3rd Year Boys, 1st Year Boys. 5th Year Boys are seated either end of the staff. 5th Year Girls are standing behind staff. They have a soft jumper which was blue. 1st Year girls are on the mats.

In the picture, the boy marked ??? A had a surname beginning with H. I think he lived in the thatched cottage on High Street, next to The Manor.

There are several families shown. Not all the Smiths are connected, only Linda and Ellen. The two Gunn's next to each other are completely different families.

Isabel Spence- one of a large family from Wheatley, I think 11 or 12 children in all; Caroline Cartwright - Wheatley lived in Roman Road, went to Primary School; Jackie Griffin-from , foster child of the Barratt family I think;

Maureen Tutty - from Wheatley, came from The Avenue, went to Primary School; Linda Gunn- from Wheatley, lived in Neville Terrace, had older siblings Robert and Judy, went to Primary School; Denise Gunn - I can't remember, but I think probably from one of the Milton's; Jenny Smith- lived in Keydale Road was at Primary School; Jenny Harper - from Horspath; Daryl Smith possibly Darrel - can't remember but I think one of the Milton's; Shirley White- can't remember but possibly ; Eileen Gunstone - Little Milton; Linda Allen - Wheatley, lived in Beech Road, can't remember at Primary School; Caroline Gnyadi - one of the Milton's or possible Haseley; Janet Richardson - Head Girl in our year, ; Wendy Allinson - father taught at Lady Spencer Churchill, lived on the campus, joined as we started this school, was not at Primary school; Mandy Hixon - lived in Beech Road, eventually married Peter Reid I think, was at Primary School played Flute in School Orch; Sue Blake - Daughter of Percy Blake, Wheatley Estates, lived in Wheatley went to primary school; Daphne Irvine - - Linda Walker - ; Sue Cooper - Forest Hill; Denise Woodford - Great Milton; Pauline Nixey - Holton or Wheatley, was at Primary School; Ann White - can't remember but possibly Garsington or Horton- Rosemary Simms - can't remember; Peta Turner - Wheatley, Roman Road, Daughter of Ron, two older sisters Shirley and Hazel, went to Primary School; Christina Walker - Can't remember probably Beckley or Horton; Catherine Hogg - Wheatley, went to Primary School; Mari Davis - pronounced Maari, Wheatley, went to Primary School, had Miss Ley- shon as God Mother I think - Miss Leyshon was the daughter of Mr Leyshon of the road name and head master of the Primary School; Joyce Sherwood - Wheatley, lived in Leyshon Road, was at Primary School; Hilary James - Horspath went into Catering and Hotel Management;

Neil Panting - Wheatley, went to Primary School, lived in London Road; Paul Smith - can't remember but possibly Beckley; Paul Godfrey - Garsington, wanted to be a jockey; Philip Plant - joined as we started at , lived opposite school; Tim Lovegrove - Beckley or Horton; Kevin Bricknell - can't remember, possibly Beckley or Horspath; Graham Soames - Beckley or Horton; Andrew Glenn - Horspath; Tim Cherry - Wheatley, lived in Leyshon Road, went to Primary School, related about three generations back to Peta Turner; Robert Weller - Wheatley, Morland House, don't remember him at Primary School, had older brother at Shotover; David Butterfield - Possibly Garsington; James Monk - Wheatley, lived in Elton Crescent, went to Primary School; Ron Clark - Wheatley, went to Primary School, lived in Roman Road, older brother Ken, Ron was at one time running the Fish & Chip Shop; Mark Waldron - Horspath, was drowned at Iffley lock two nights before taking CSE Geography exams; John Ward - Possibly Beckley; Steve Hughes - Wheatley, went to Primary School, father was Police Sergeant, lived in Police houses at Holton Turn; Ian Cambray - Keydale area, went to Primary School, became a paramedic but not straight away, last heard of running fish & chip shop in Wells Somerset; Brian Morris - can't remember; Liolnel Titchener - Tiddington I think, became a tattoo artist in St Clemence ; Peter Reid - Wheatley, lived in London Road, went to Primary School, see Mandy Hixon,; Steve Spinks - Wheatley, went to Primary School, lived in London Road, almost next to where Asda now is went to BMC as apprentice I think; Nigel Belcher - Stanton St John, son of police constable; Davis Parslow - Garsington, dad ran busses used for school run from Garsington; Peter Gary - Wheatley, went to Primary School, had older sisters who went to Grammar school and one younger, Sheila, Joyce, Eileen and Marion, Lived in London Road; Glyn Plested - Wheatley, went to Primary School, lived in Roman Road; Tony Woodward - can't remember; Alan Slatter - Wheatley, went to Primary School, lived in Roman Road; Peter Hicks - Beckley or Horton, Head Boy in our year; Played Trombone in school orch.
