Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant Official Preliminary to the Miss America Pageant

Recently, I was crowned Miss Greater Greeneville 2014. The Miss Greene County/Greater Greeneville Scholarship Pageant is an official local preliminary to the Miss America Organization. As Miss Greater Greeneville, I won a $1,000 scholarship to help me further my education. Being Miss Greater Greeneville gives me the opportunity to make a difference in my community through service and volunteerism, being a positive role model, and supporting education, local clubs and organizations.
I have always been involved in my community through service, clubs, sports, or performing. I want to use my talents to improve my community and make a positive difference. This passion led to my platform “Change the World with Kindness,” to inspire others. As a RAKtivist™ in the Ambassador Program for the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation®, I want to show people how one act of random kindness a day can truly make a positive change. I have personally experienced how just one person can make a great impact on a community.
The pinnacle moment of my year will be the Miss Tennessee Pageant, which will be held June 18-21 in Jackson. Thirty-six pageant winners throughout the state will be competing for the title of Miss Tennessee and have the opportunity to represent Tennessee at the Miss America Pageant.
I would be delighted if you would honor me with a Salute Page in the Miss Tennessee Program Book. Each page will feature my Miss Greater Greeneville photograph and the name and pictures of the sponsors for that page. The cost of a Salute Page is $300. The salute page will not only show your support for me as I compete for the title of Miss Tennessee, but it will present me with $100 towards my education. I sold 32 pages last year, earning me $3,200 for my education.
The Miss America Scholarship Pageant is the largest scholarship program for young women in the United States awarding over $45 million a year at the local, state and national level. Each year over 80,000 young ladies participate in local preliminary pageants leading to Miss America.
Your Salute Page advertisement will be included in the official 2014 Miss Tennessee Program book and viewed by all of those attending the week-long program.
