INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM BARCELONA 2020 The week-long symposium will be followed by a two-day global seminar at Elisava, planned cooperatively with colleagues from ELIA, the globally connected European network for higher arts education. There will be a roundtable on these topics that will include a number of deans from the University of Barcelona, offering a very productive exchange of information among participants. A presentation about academic exchange opportunities will provide information needed to pursue such exchanges. ICFAD members are invited to present, as part of our time on campus.

“This will be the fourth International Symposium that my wife and I have enjoyed with ICFAD. We appreciate that these programs are more than merely well-planned vacations. They are tailor-made for deans and arts administrators to provide an educationally enriching, culturally immersive experience led by seasoned guides. We wouldn’t consider other group travel, but we very much look forward to ICFAD’s trips.”
