Job Description – Group Consolidation Manager

Role The Group Consolidation Manager will be instrumental in improving the quality of the Group’s consolidated financial reporting. The Group Consolidation Manager should have the professionalism and experience to act as a trusted senior manager at a time of change and further expansion in the organisation. They should be able to demonstrate a commitment to the values and aims of INTO, and offer the energy, stamina and flexibility to contribute to the overall success of the . This is a period of rapid expansion and growth by the INTO group and the Group Consolidation Manager will need to be a motivated self-starter who can operate at senior management level within this entrepreneurial organisation to make sure the finance function is delivering value at all times.

Main responsibilities The main duties are below but there will also be a significant amount of ad hoc work: • Taking ownership of the production of high quality financial accounts and reports for the Group and . • Ensuring the company complies with all regulatory requirements regarding financial reports.

• Taking ownership of the Group’s multi-currency consolidation process (including extensive joint venture ) for both monthly internal management and statutory purposes. • Working with the Group Financial Planning Analyst to prepare quality consolidated reports for the senior management team. • Review of monthly reconciliations, including multi-currency intercompany reconciliations. • Oversight of the accounting for the Group’s key headquarters operations (IUP Limited and IUP2 LLP). • Administer, develop and improve the accuracy of Hyperion (INTO’s consolidation tool) alongside training users on best practise use of the system. • Developing and implementing best practice processes and systems across the Group. • Technical accounting support to operating • Oversight of the UK tax compliance of the group – both corporate and VAT – including preparation of headquarter company corporate tax packs and VAT returns (with support from professional advisors). • Key point of contact for auditors, taking day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the process. • Maintaining company secretarial data and filings with Companies House for group companies. • Supporting on a variety of ad hoc projects as required.

Person specification Candidates for the Group Consolidation Manager role must be qualified (ideally ACA / CIMA, or experience to a similar level). You will have an audit background and/or recent experience of preparing UK consolidated financial statements for an international group. You will have excellent command of Microsoft Excel, strong analytical, report writing and communication skills; you will also enjoy problem solving and working under pressure. You must also be resourceful and will be happy to get involved across the full spectrum of Group finance responsibilities. Experience of Hyperion would be beneficial.

Location The post is based in Brighton Headquarters. Travel within the UK and globally may be necessary and flexibility is required to meet the demands of the post, including occasional weekend working. The post holder may be reasonably required to work from any INTO or Partner location at any time.
