It is with a full heart that I write my last Newsletter. What an incredible year Dis- trict N2 Lions have had. Besides all the bingos, raffles, and dinners, our Lions achieved many feats. District N2 has been able to start our first Campus Club, Dal- housie University Campus Club with 20 new members. It was such an honour as DG to induct these young and very active Lions. As of today, we have a new Branch Club – Branch Club was approved by LCI, the club is affiliated with Anti- gonish Lions. And our newest LEOs Club is in New Germany! Our District Project “Hearing For All” has been a great success. The funds were secured. I would like to thank Lion Dave Hunter for all his hard work on this project. My theme this year “Dancing Towards Literacy”, had all the clubs stepping up to the plate. With dona- tions to Literacy Nova Scotia, local and school libraries you have made sure that Lit- eracy is available to all ages in Nova Scotia. Thanks to CST Peter Reid’s hard work, we were able to obtain 10,000 books from First Book Canada, then you, the Lions, gave these books to our youth throughout the province. All and all this has been a very good year and I would like to thank each and every Lion of N2 for all your help and support in making this year AWESOME
