It was during her studies in January 2004 that Milic was offered a freelance position with Nine’s Gold Coast News which led her to becoming the program’s full-time weather presenter in January 2006. Along with her presenting commitments, she was also reporting on local stories as part of the News team. Milic joined the Brisbane News team in December 2008, having stints presenting the weather and weekend bulletins. In 2010, Eva returned home to Gold Coast News to present the local bulletin after the birth of her first child.
