The groups aim to support parents’ wellbeing and mental health through providing relaxation and stress management techniques. There is also a private Facebook Group for families being supported by our Wellbeing programme - www.facebook.com/groups/hsewellbeing. Lisa posts on this with Home-Start activities, motivational and wellbeing uplifting messages too. This can include ways to help ourselves with anxiety, stress etc. An excellent way to also encourage peer support throughout Essex and families to stay in touch who have joined the group should they wish. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Lisa on [email protected] To make a referral please use the form found on our website (detailed above) Perinatal Support Programme Our Perinatal Support is available for 6 months: • Pregnant Mums – Support from when they are 3 months pregnant until they give birth • New Mums – Support from birth of baby or any time up until the child is 1 year old Families are supported by a trained volunteer who provides support and advice to improve mental health & emotional wellbeing, coping strategies, practical advice and signposting to other services. Currently this is over the phone or via zoom (for face to face). The 2 groups will be for: 10am to 11am – Pregnant Mums and 8pm to 9pm – Mums with babies under 1 year old. Contact - Claire Strudwick The Warm and Safe programme is aimed at the most vulnerable families who have children under 5. Family needs to live within identified districts and wards; and/or are on benefits; or are struggling with finances and/or mental health or feeling isolated. Support aims to resolve or

manage conflict in ways that remove or limit the adverse impact it has on Parenting Together children and strengthen parenting skills.
