Spirits List Spirits List In what can be referred to as a golden age for premium spirits, the E&C 2019 Spirits List is fittingly our most exciting, extensive and comprehensive portfolio yet. Never before has such a vast variety of products been available, with the UK representing an enthralling shop window for the global market, boasting the very best of the best in the hospitality and cocktail scene, which are home to a wealth of both domestically crafted and imported spirits. Because of growing consumer interest, education and a willingness to spend more and trade up, premiumisation and craft continue to be buzz- words within the sector, driving interest and value increases across the board.Gin continues to show no signs of respite and continues to be the unrivalled spirit of the moment. The unlikely, but profound, second coming of this traditional spirit – with inextricable British roots – has been nothing short of phenomenal, with the category reinventing itself via an array of coloured, flavoured, regional and atypical contemporary expressions. Offering over 300 different products, our gin range is a delicious force to be reckoned with, and we’re proud to exclusively distribute one of the very best modern examples available – the excellent Pink Pepper Gin from the ever-innovative team at Audemus Spirits, along with the rest of the range from these dynamic distillers. With new products and brands entering the arena at a prolific rate, so too tastes and trends are moving fast, seeing the unexpected emergence of some more unusual categories, which we’ve chosen to champion as market leaders. Representing one of our 2019 Focus Areas, the low/no movement is certainly a category causing waves, as discerning drinkers jump on the temperance bandwagon and drink less, or not at all. Including products covering a range of styles & serve types, consumers now have a growing wealth of sophisticated options available. Vermouth is another one to watch as drinkers look for lighter, refreshing long drinks, so another of our very own agency brands, Regal Rouge Vermouth, is in a position to enjoy some deserved success this year. In the same vein, we’re expecting our exclusive agency brand Copenhagen Sparkling Tea to excite and delight palates in a unique way. Mezcal has been talked up within the trade for some time now, but never before has there been such variety of products and styles in the UK, which we’ve embraced by creating an extended offer celebrating the diversity, complexity and intrigue of this complex and exciting spirit. Whiskey too, from further afield, is gaining an increasing appreciation and following, as age statement single Malt Scotch and Japanese products are becoming increasingly sought after and rare to find. Sweden, Australia, Thailand and even England are all countries showing signs of great potential with some truly exciting new releases which offer unexpected but rewarding sipping. Finally, for the first time, we are pleased to unveil an E&C craft beer portfolio – showcasing an exciting and eclectic range of products and breweries from the UK and beyond. Whilst we are in prime position to grow and drive these exciting categories and brands, we look forward to evolving the range over the course of the year, bringing in the best new products, and remaining at the cutting edge of innovation and trends as a market-leading force in the UK drinks universe. Die moderne Bar im restaurierten, denkmalgeschützten Spiegelsaal. Classic-Cocktails meet trendy drinks, beer & fancy food.
