University of Oxford Radcliffe Observatory Quarter Community newsletter – December 2011 Jericho Health Centre The existing Jericho Health Centre will be re-housed on the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter site, opposite the entrances to Cardigan Street and Jericho Street. The building is on schedule to open in May 2012. When the building is open there will be a public thoroughfare across the ROQ site, so pedestrians and cyclists will be able to travel between Walton Street and Woodstock Road more quickly than at present. Computer generated image of the Health Centre Current building work Refurbishment of the Radcliffe Infirmary The fountain which sits outside the entrance to the Infirmary is being relined. Its statue has been removed for repair and will return to the site in summer 2012.The complete refurbishment of the Radcliffe Infirmary building is due to be completed by the summer of 2012. The building will be occupied by the Humanities Divisional Office, the Faculty of Philosophy and the Philosophy and Theology Libraries.
