The vintner: with a total of no less than 7 separate 2013 wine-making territories, the good people of Baden- Meersburger Württemberg are truly fortunate – but all the are on steep sites and can only be worked by hand; Chorherrnhalde no machinery is involved. Weißburgunder (Pinot blanc)- The wine: robust body with a juicy fullness, combined with opulent fruit notes ranging from apples and pears Chardonnay to lychees and bananas. Qw dry Our recommendation: this is an all-rounder, going as Meersburg Staatsweingut Estate well with light meats, poultry or fish as it does with Lake Constance, Baden vegetarian or Asian dishes. 2012 The vintner: the oldest vintners’ association in Baden. Hagnauer Sonnenufer Envied by many of their colleagues, as every barrel is drunk to the lees, year in, year out; which is why they never have any old wine there.
