Now it is YOUR turn!

It is finally here ... the trip that adults have been waiting for! If you have sent your students on the youth exchange to Braunschweig and wished you could go, too, or have read about their adventures in the Acts and Facts and have wanted to be part of a similar trip, your chance to experience the culture and fun of such a trip has arrived!

The Omaha Sister Cities Association with the support of the German-American Society is planning a tour of and Braunschweig for next summer. Fly with the group to Berlin on June 5 and see the , Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, parts of the Wall, Potsdam, and the Palace from the comfort of a deluxe tour bus. Then travel to Braunschweig to make new friends in our Sister City. Celebrate the 25th anniversary of this relationship with an orchestra concert directed by our own Maestro Thomas Wilkins. Explore the Harz Mountains and enjoy a day in Wulfsburg at the Autostadt Volkswagen factory. Taste the local specialty, white asparagus. Return home on June 13 full of memories and marzipan.

The cost for this amazing escorted tour with a personal touch is only $3489. All transportation, double occupancy in hotels, and two meals a day are included. To reserve your seats, contact Roland Treu at True Travel and make your final payment by February 28. If you have questions, contact Carol Stoltenberg at 402 392-0446 or [email protected].

See you in Germany!

This lion is the symbol of Braunsweig. White asparagus and schnitzel ...mmmm.

Yes, there really is a modern shopping mall behind this original palace facade!
