It is finally here ... the trip that adults have been waiting for! The Omaha Sister Cities Association with the support of the German-American Society is planning a tour of Berlin and Braunschweig for next summer. Fly with the group to Berlin on June 5 and see the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, parts of the Wall, Potsdam, and the Sanssouci Palace from the comfort of a deluxe tour bus. Then travel to Braunschweig to make new friends in our Sister City. Celebrate the 25th anniversary of this relationship with an orchestra concert directed by our own Maestro Thomas Wilkins. Explore the Harz Mountains and enjoy a day in Wulfsburg at the Autostadt Volkswagen factory. Taste the local specialty, white asparagus. Return home on June 13 full of memories and marzipan.
