Day 4: Amalfi - Cetara or Ravello, ~29 or 39 km From Amalfi you continue your cycle tour along the coast, cycling on a street with some ups and downs overlooking the sea, crossing the villages of Minori, Maiori and Cetara. It is possible to make a deviation and go up towards Ravello, where in the placid beauty of the main square, the Dome dedicated to Saint Pantaleone stands out. The blood of the Saint liquefies every year on 27th July. From the village dominating the sea from 300 meters above sea level, you can enjoy a view beyond the Gulf of Salerno and up to the Cilento mountains. We suggest a visit to Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo, whose architecture (a mélange of Arab, Sicilian and Norman style) was an inspiration for Wagner. You return on the road along the coast to finally reach Cetara and Salerno. You come back to the gulet for the overnight stand in roadstead in Salerno. Day 5: Capri The day starts with a sailing up to Capri. You will have some breaks during the sailing to take a bath and to admire the Amalfi coast from the sea. Afterwards you visit the island on foot. You reach the village of Capri with its famous “piazzetta” and continue to the Faraglioni. From above the cliff you can enjoy a wonderful panorama on the Gulf of Naples dominated by the Vesuvius. The overnight in the gulet is in the port of Porto Sant’Angelo on Ischia Island. Day 6: Ischia, ~25 km Cycling from the thermal village of S. Angelo you will cross by bike the western part of the island among the scents and flavors of the Mediterranean Sea, crossing little villages with the possibility of visiting little museums along the stage. Once you reach, there’s embarkation and overnight in the port of Ischia. Day 7: Procida and Pozzuoli You sail up to Procida and do a walking visit of the town and the San Michele Abbey. You return to the boat to continue to Naples. THE PRIVATI SHRINE AT CASTELLAMMARE DI STABIA (BAY OF NAPLES, ITALY) Mario Notomista1 RESUMO Em 1984, no bairro Privati de Castellammare di Stabia, um depósito votivo foi descoberto contendo cultura material que poderia ser ligada a um edifício de culto nas proximidades. Devido à dimensão limitada da escavação, a estrutura em si não foi descoberta, apesar de elementos arquitetônicos, como antefixes confirmou a sua existência. O santuário foi construído no século IV a. C., no extremo sul da antiga Stabianus, em uma localização topográfica chave. Os achados foram datados a partir de meados do século IV até o fim do segundo século antes de Cristo. Entre as terracotas, a descoberta mais significativa foi a Athena carregando um escudo e usando um barrete frígio. A ausência de armas implica que a deusa era uma divindade protetora benevolente, talvez uma Athena Ilias. A iconografia reflete a identidade política e cultural das populações locais durante um momento político crucial que deve ser visto no contexto da romanização. As últimas descobertas indicam que o local foi abandonado no primeiro trimestre do primeiro século a. C., talvez ligada à destruição de Stabiae por Sulla. Marcadores graves são evidências de que num período subsequente, entre o século I a. C. e o século I d. C., a área do santuário foi usada como uma necrópole. In caso di omessa pubblicazione, la liquidazione del corrispettivo per gi incarichi di collaborazione o consulenza di cui al presente comma costituisce illecito disciplinare e determina responsabilità erariale del dirigente preposto. L’art. 53 del d.lgs. n. 165/01 e s.m.i., stabilisce che: “14. The current analysis describes the results of an integrated sedimentological and geomorphological study of the Neapolitan coastal area. A sedimentological and morphosedimentary study was carried out by bathymetric survey and sampling of bottom sediments. The analysis of modal isodensity curves shows that all the sediments are moved from NW to SE by longshore currents parallel to the coastline. The morphological evolution of the Castellammare di Stabia Gulf coastal area, based on historical coastline changes, starts from 1865, when the sandy littoral was wide and in its natural state. Since the construction of the Torre Annunziata harbor in 1871, sediments transported by a NW-SE longshore drift have become trapped, inducing the genesis of a new wide triangular-shaped beach on the updrift side (NW) of the harbor breakwall. This process induced a significant shoreline retreat of the south-east sector of the littoral. Widespread beach erosion of the coastal physiographic unit of Castellammare di Stabia Gulf (delimited by two ports) is more developed in the southern portion.
