n After receiving the duly filled up Online Application form and successful eligibility assessment of documents submitted by the applicant, the University will n After the Acceptance Letter is issued, the student will be required to login to a unique link (to be provided by the University in the “Acceptance Letter” and issue “Conditional Offer Letter” along with “Acceptance of Offer Letter” and “Fee Due Invoice”. n e-mail) using his/her login id details to download Student Guidelines, Reporting Instructions and FAQ's. These documents can also be downloaded from n Chandigarh University's Official website: www.cuchd.in/international The applicant can download the “Conditional Offer Letter”, “Acceptance of Offer Letter” and “Fee Due Invoice” by using his/her Registration Login Id n details generated at the completion of Step 1. n This will give a detailed insight to the student on Pre-arrival & Post-arrival checks. n n “Fee Due Invoice” can be used to transfer the Advance Tuition fee as well as Hostel Fee ( if availed) by the applicant. n The student may also request for these documents by sending a separate email to [email protected]

5 Transfer of Advance Fee (Tuition/Hostel) along with Signed “Acceptance of Offer Letter” to the University 8 Intimation of Arrival and Reporting at the University Campus n Applicant shall be required to pay the advanced amount of Tuition Fee of INR 5,000 or USD 250 (as case may be) using the bank details & admission number as mentioned on the “Fee Due Invoice” and “Conditional Offer Letter”. n n The student should intimate about his/her arrival to the university at least 7 days before reaching the campus and shall report at the University before the n The applicant shall further submit the scanned copy of the bank receipt to [email protected] last date of reporting as mentioned in the university website. n n In case, student reports at University after the last date of admission, the student has to intimate the International Admission Department of the University n It may take 7 to 10 days for the university to confirm the receipt of the fee. and take special permission for late reporting. The student will not get any benefit related to classroom lectures, marks or class assessment, missed due to delay in reporting. n Applicant shall also be required to send a duly filled & signed copy of “Acceptance of Offer Letter” along with the bank receipt to [email protected]

6 Issuance of “Acceptance Letter” for Visa Application to the Applicant n 9 FRRO and FSIS Processing n After receiving and verifying the “Acceptance of Offer Letter”, fulfillment of all the conditions as mentioned in the “Offer Letter” and Confirmation of Fee Transfer by the student through e-mail, the university will issue and upload the “Acceptance Letter”. n n The Foreigner Regional Registration Offices (FRRO) Process is mandatory for all the Foreign Nationals (except Nepalese and Bhutanese) studying in n The “Acceptance Letter” issued by the University can be downloaded online and used for applying the Indian Student Visa. The student cannot apply for India. The FRRO has to be completed within first 14 days of their arrival in India. The student has to provide the University with a copy of the FRRO the Indian Visa with Conditional Offer Letter. Certificate for the records. Beyond 14 days, a penalty of USD 30 is levied by the concerned authorities to the student for FRRO Registration. (Not Applicable for Nepalese and Bhutanese students) n Bhutanese & Nepalese nationals shall be required to Register Form-S under Foreign Students Information System (FSIS) processing. This is Mandatory n for all International students from Nepal and Bhutan. n It generally takes 3-4 weeks to obtain the Indian Visa. All the International Applicants, except those from Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan have to pay in USD only. This fee can be either paid online through SWIFT Bank Transfer using the details mentioned in the Invoice or can be deposited in cash (INR / USD) at the University Accounts department.
