COMMENTS & KUDOS Neil McMillan I wanted to take the time to congratulate you on your recent award. It’s not every day that staff is able to tell their supervisors that they do a great job. For you to receive the Supervisor of the Year award says a lot about your department and the staff you supervise. Received from Sunny via e-mail, Feb. 16, 2018

Terri G. Cooper, Kristen Daniels, Belinda Jackson, Nicole Perry and Katie M. Smart Thank you so much for bringing staff together to talk about camp this morning. Our folks got a TON out of your presentation and information that you shared. FCPR is my favorite department in the state for a lot of reasons. I don't have enough time to list them all :) Received from Jennifer via e-mail, March 7, 2018

Crystal Glover, Marcus Monroe, Nelson Soriano and Tyshica Tucker My name is Mark and I am the chairperson for John Wesley United Methodist Church men's group HBCU College Fair. I

COMMENTS KUDOS & want to thank your staff led by Crystal, Tyshica, Nelson (Smith Recreation Center) and Marcus (Smith Recreation Center) for outstanding support. The administrative, logistical and helping my church publicize the event contributed to the fair being successful and well attended by the community. Several hundred students benefited from your staff's support over the last two years of hosting our fair. Your staff's can-do attitude and professionalism is a tribute to the high standards of the city and county. We at John Wesley United Methodist Church men's group salute and say thank you for a job well done by Ms. Glover and the entire team of your conscientious professionals. Received from Mark via email, March 7, 2018

Special Projects I really appreciate the rapid, next day response and repair of the plastic ramp accessing the slide section of the playground at Clark Park. The work that you and your crew members perform on a daily basis is critical to our ability to operate safely. Thank you, and please thank the crew for me. Received from Neil via e-mail, March 16, 2018

Belinda Jackson Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to give my colleagues and I a tour of your facility and answer a few of our questions. You have a really nice facility. You were very informative, very knowledgeable about your department and a great host. The care and attention to detail you have for your facility is very impressive. Thank you for all your insight. We found our trip to Fayetteville to be very insightful and hope that we can improve our department based on some of the things we learned from our visit. Thank you again, it was a pleasure meeting you. Received from Rodney (Concord Parks and Recreation) via mail, June 28, 2018

Heidi Bleazey and Michael Gibson The tours of the E.E. Smith house went extremely well! Passengers enjoyed a leisurely carriage ride with a tour guide and then they were treated to the story of E.E. Smith’s life and his considerable contributions to this nation and mankind, while standing inside the very house where he lived. Heidi Bleazey from the Transportation Museum was superb. In fact, I extended the time inside the house to almost 30 minutes instead of the planned 10-15. One of the ladies in my tour group is on the FSU faculty and we are now talking about possibly doing the tour again just for FSU students and faculty. Michael, I know this could not have happened without your influence, and I am deeply appreciative! Received from Hank via e-mail, July 17, 2018

James Parker I would like to take this opportunity to share my sincere appreciation for the assistance provided by James Parker to me with some problems at Hall Park. As the Gray’s Creek Ruritan site manager at Hall Park, I was recently confronted with trying to deal with some plumbing and irrigation issues during two tournaments while I was over 3,000 miles away in Alaska on vacation. A quick text and phone call to Mr. Parker explaining the problems at Hall Park soon became problems resolved! Situation under control! Mr. Parker’s sincere concern for the continued partnership and success of the Gray’s Creek Youth Sports program is indeed appreciated. He has been instrumental in his efforts to provide assistance and support at any time. FCPR is lucky to have such a dedicated employee on your “team.” Received from Helen via e-mail, July 20, 2018
