Honeysuckle Removal Invasive bush honeysuckle is destroying forest understory by blocking sunlight from other species. Contact our partner, the Open Space Council, to volunteer for weekend honeysuckle removal and other environment-enhancing projects. INVOLVED Corporate and school groups can schedule weekday honeysuckle removal projects with us to fit your group’s availability and site preference. Volunteers, ages 16+, must attend an initial two-hour orientation (one held every spring and fall) in which Park Rangers teach trail etiquette and reporting procedures. PRESERVE. TEACH. INSPIRE. The Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park () is a unique and significant residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, widely considered the greatest American architect. Wright designed the house for Russell and Ruth Kraus in 1951, the first of only five Wright-designed properties in Missouri. The Kraus House is an excellent example of Wright’s democratic vision, intended to provide middle-class Americans with beautiful architecture at an affordable cost. The home is notable for its architectural integrity and original Wright-designed furnishings and fabrics. With a floor plan composed of two intersecting parallelograms, it is considered one of Wright’s most geometrically complex homes. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
