The historic Vanderbilt Estate on the beautiful Connetquot River. Ruldoph Campus, Oakdale, NY A Rich History. A Wealth of Opportunity.

illiam K. Vanderbilt could have built his Estate anywhere he wanted when, over 110 years ago, he opted for the site that is today the Rudolph Campus of Dowling College, on the South Shore of , west of the Hamptons and little more than an hour, by train, to .

Dowling’s Brookhaven Campus is home to the College’s NCAA Division II playing fields, our Aeronautics program and some of our graduate programs, including doctoral programs in Education, and it all comprises a vast setting for college life.

While campus setting is a compelling feature of many first-rate colleges, the most important facet of degree studies is the quality of instruction and the prospects for success after graduation. Dowling can boast both characteristics while Woffering the distinct advantages of its locations in one of the most thriving regions anywhere in the world. erhaps the most important and relevant strength of Dowling College is its focus on success after graduation. At a time when as many as half of all college graduates over the past five years remain either unemployed or are working in jobs minimally related to their college majors, Dowling is heavily focused on doing everything possible to insure its graduates are on the positive side of this statistic.

While there are no guarantees in life, Dowling students who do their part by excelling in their studies can count on a faculty and staff who will work on their behalf to optimize the probability that Dowling graduates will be ‘discovered’ by someone who can open the door to opportunities after graduation, thereby setting the stage for a lifetime of career success, be that moving on to a graduate school or into a professional pursuit that coincides with their degree.

Dowling professors are veterans in their fields who focus their work Pon undergraduates. Nothing any college has to offer is more valuable to future success than the quality and commitment of the faculty and their willingness to use their professional contacts to open doors for their students.

College is an expensive investment. We realize how important it is for that investment to pay off after graduation.

That’s the Power of Dowling. Step up to the Inspiring Traditions of Dowling College
