Results of the Russian Arctic animated 2013. April 22, 2014 Vladimir Putin held an expanded meeting of the Security Council "On the implementation of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the Arctic in the interests of national security." This region has traditionally been and remains in the sphere of Russian special interests. Here are concentrated almost all aspects of national security: military-political, economic, technological, and environmental and resource. At the same time Russia is actively expanding its information, scientific, humanitarian presence in the Arctic. "An important role was played by passing the initiative of Russia International Forum "The Arctic - Territory of Dialogue", - emphasized in his speech the President of the country. "Popularization of the Arctic and its heroes , its unique environment - a special direction in the Russian Geographical Society ," - said the Minister of Defense and the President of the RGS Sergei Shoigu during the latter third of the International Forum "The Arctic - Territory of Dialogue", which was held in Salekhard (September 2013 year). Shortly after the historic meeting of the Security Council on the Arctic, the Russian Government approved the State program "Socio-economic development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation for the period till 2020", prepared by the Ministry of Regional Development and the Introduction to the Cabinet at the end of 2013. TIME CaPSULE ARTISTIC REPORT ON CaTASTROPHES AND UTOPIA Chto Delat newspaper | Issue#38 | November 2014 This newspaper forms the second part of the publication For our Secession installation we took as a starting point the produced for our Secession show. It directly reflects the present very short and tragic story of one art object created by our collective situation at a moment of growing danger, and it corresponds to in Vienna for the “Into the City” festival: “Our Paper Soldier” the main installation, “A Resurrected Soldier”, and a new video sculpture, conceived as a Queer replica of the monument to the installation, “The Excluded”. Soviet soldier killed fighting for the liberation of Vienna from Nazism in 1945. This sculpture became a central part of our festival, asking It reflects what art could be at a moment whenfamiliar the questions: “What is monumental today?” and: “What might politics and everyday life start falling apart. The events of recent constitute anti-fascist struggle in our time?” After the festival ended, months have thrown Russian artists and creative workers into a the sculpture went to Berlin, where it was set on fire by persons completely new reality: a new Cold War atmosphere, an escalating unknown. So today we have decided to play with this story. In the search for enemies, ever-tighter repression of all dissent, and an midst of our work at Secession, we decided to make a new sculpture open military confrontation with Ukraine leaving thousands of dead piece: a sculpture of a resurrected (zombie) soldier who somehow on both sides. -

Festival Russenko, 6Ème Édition
Organisé par la ville du Kremlin-Bicêtre, le festival RussenKo 2015 présente sa 6ème édition les 30, 31 janvier et 1er février 2015. Fort de plus de 7000 visiteurs venus de tous les horizons en 2014, le festival des cultures russes et russophones fait le pari de la complexité, de l’éclectisme, de la nouveauté, de l’ouverture. Il poursuit son objectif initial: tisser des liens entre les citoyens et établir des passerelles entre la France, la Russie et les pays russophones. Pour cette nouvelle édition, l’image devient le cœur du festival avec deux expositions photographiques présentées par deux partenaires de renom le Musée d’Art Multimédia de Moscou et la galerie Polka (Paris). RussenKo 2015 s’aventure dans de nouveaux espaces gastronomiques avec les « nouveaux fermiers » du collectif Lavka Lavka (Moscou), s’ouvre à de nouvelles scènes avec les artistes du festival de musiques actuelles Afisha Picnic (Moscou), découvre de nouvelles formes artistiques avec le street artiste Radya (Ekaterinbourg). RussenKo offre un espace de réflexion et de discussion avec des tables rondes géopolitiques et sociétales, notamment une table ronde autour de la « situation » ukrainienne, en partenariat avec RFI. Les journées littéraires de RussenKo s’ouvrent aux réflexions et travaux de l’auteur Dmitri Bortnikov, accueilli en résidence sur la ville du Kremlin-Bicêtre. L’art du clown est également présent cette année avec la création clownesque franco-russe Kanikuly de la compagnie Le Bateau de Papier. Enfin, RussenKo reste avant tout une rencontre entre territoires, puisque la Ville du Kremlin-Bicêtre accueillera des artistes et des créations du district de Dmitrov (Région de Moscou), de la région de Novossibirsk (sud-ouest de la Sibérie), de la ville d’Irkoutsk (capitale de la Sibérie Orientale).
