Below‐Ground Concept for Bush‐Wellborn Intersection
14
7 1/9/2020
Tell Us What You Think – Phase 2!
• Phase 1 survey said the public prefers a below‐ground option to an above‐ ground option. • Phase 1 respondents said they want the project done right, even if there is traffic pain. • Phase 2 – Go back to the public and ask: What is the right balance between seeing construction and increased travel times due to intersection closure? Understand the travel route and schedule options. Seeing equipment ‐ Is it OK if we keep traffic lanes open? Close intersection & increase travel times – How long can we accept long travel times? Setting expectations ‐ Bush‐Wellborn is one piece of the puzzle – this project will NOT fix all of our traffic problems.
