JUNIORS TAKE ACT TEST THIS WEEK All juniors at North took the ACT this week. As students arrived, they were given free breakfast (if they wanted) and had a few minutes to connect with their peers before testing began.

ACT ASPIRE TESTING IN APRIL

What is the ACT Aspire? The ACT Aspire, which can be administered beginning in third grade and through 10th grade, is designed to assess both understanding of new Common Core standards and college readiness. The program tests students in five main subjects: math, reading, English, writing, and science.

GIRLS SWIMMING TEAM STARTS THE OFF STRONG

This past week the Husky Girl's Swim & Dive team continued their successful season with a huge win over our cross-town rivals, the Memorial Old Abes! The final score of the meet was Huskies - 109 and Old Abes - 76. A few highlights from the meet were diver Hannah Tylee winning the dive meet with a score of 188.35 and the swimmers Janaya Goldbach, Jenny LaPage, and Morgan Sommer taking 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in the 50-freestyle race. The Huskies have a week off from competition before swimming against Memorial again and the OHA combination team, before competing at the Sectional tournament, which will be hosted by North this year
