24 NEW AND RARE FOR LITHUANIA INSECT SPECIES. Volume 24 LEPIDOPTERA SPECIES NEW FOR LITHUANIAN FAUNA POVILAS IVINSKIS, JOLANTA RIMŠAIT Ė Nature Research Centre, Akademijos 2, Vilnius. E-mails: [email protected]; [email protected] Introduction After the Catalogue of Lepidoptera of Lithuania appeared (Ivinskis, 2004), new information on Lithuanian microlepidoptera was published by many authors (Dapkus et al. , 2007, Ivinskis, 2007, Ivinskis & Rimšaite, 2006, Kazlauskas, 2008, Kazlauskas & Šl ėnys, 2007, Noreika, 2007, Ostrauskas & Ivinskis, 2010a, 2010b, 2010c; Ostrauskas et al ., 2008, 2010a, 2010b). New data on 22 Lepidoptera species are presented in this paper. Material and Methods The majority of the data was collected by P. Ivinskis (P.I.), J. Rimšait ė (J.R.) and V. Pacevi čius (V.P.) during field investigations. Different methods, such as breeding from larvae, netting, pheromone and light trapping were used. Battery traps (8 W blended lamp), screens (160 W mixed lamp), automatic traps with 300 W solar type lamps were used for the light trapping. The material was identified using Bengtsson et al., 2008., Leraut, 2012, Jurivete & Ounap, 2008, Savenkov & Šulcs, 2010. Taxonomical treatment follows that of the Fauna Europaea database (Karsholt & Nieukerken, 2012). The specimens are deposited in the collection of Nature Research Centre (Vilnius, Lithuania). Im Biotop Kalterer See (Südtirol)
Gredleriana Vol. 1 / 2001 pp. 419– 447 Ökologische Bewertung nachtaktiver Schmetterlingsgemeinschaften (Lepidoptera) im Biotop Kalterer See (Südtirol) Peter Huemer* Abstract Ecological assessment of nocturnal lepidopterous communities in the »Biotop Kalterer See« (South Tyrol) The moth communities of the »Biotop Kalterer See« have been examined from May to September 2000 and the results have been compared with earlier investigations. Altogether 389 species have been recorded so far, 236 in 2000 and 301 in 1990/91. Five taxa are newly recorded for South Tyrol: Coleophora taeniipennella Herrich-Schäffer, 1855, Blastobasis huemeri Sinev, 1994, Cosmopterix scribaiella (Zeller, 1859), Monochroa divisella (Douglas, 1850) und Mythimna loreyi (Duponchel, 1827). The inven- tory includes 12 critically endangered, 13 endangered and 22 vulnerable species which are predomi- nantly hygrophilous. Though the conservation value of the lepidopterous fauna from the fens is still regarded as high, the abundance and species diversity appear low compared to those of other areas. Conservation problems, such as the usage of insecticides in the adjacent orchards, are discussed as a possible explanation. Specimens are deposited in the private collections of A. Schreurs (NL-Kerkade) and in Regiograf Institute (H-Komló). Bucculatrix humiliella Herrich-Schäffer, [1855] and Epermenia falciformis (Haworth, 1828) is new species in Hungary. Pelochrista modicana (Zeller, 1847), Caloptilia cuculipennella (Hübner, 1796), Prays fraxinella (Bjerkander, 1784), Blastobasis huemeri Sinev, 1993, Ancylis tineana (Hübner, 1799), Cydia exquisitana (Rebel, 1889) and Ancylosis oblitella (Zeller, 1848) new to the fauna of the Transdanubian Hills. Biological data and habitats of the species are presented. Distribution is shown on maps. Structure of genitalia and morphological characteristic of wings are illustrated with color figures and distributed map. With 7 figures. Keywords: Lepidoptera, Microlepidoptera, faunistic, new distribution data, biology, Hungary. Introduction This study presents a list of 46 new micro-moths species recorded from the area around Dombóvár–Gunaras. We published our first study in 2010 (FAZEKAS & SCHREURS 2010), and included a list of 436 species of micro-moth recorded from the Dombóvár area. Dombóvár is in SW Hungary, 30 km from Kaposvár (Somogy County) and 50 km from Pécs (Baranya County).
