Employment History

March 2020 to Morgan State University, Psychometrics Present Baltimore, Md Research Associate. Helped to establish the new Center for Predictive Analytics (CPA) as an incubator for grad psychometric students to engage in professional research projects; overall office management for MSU’s evaluation center; and, direct project research.

June 2019 to Willow Oak Montessori Public Charter June 2020 Chapel Hill, NC Executive Director. Operations oversight; fund-raised & directed this high fidelity Montessori public charter school; managed a team of 35 teachers and administrators; managed a $2.7M budget.

August 2014 to Morgan State University, Psychometrics May 2019 Baltimore, Md Graduate Assistant. Recruitment, graduate student admissions trouble-shooting, filing, event planning and general communications.

February 2011 to Shining Stars Montessori Charter School February 2014 Washington, DC Co-Founder & CEO. Co-envisioned, fund-raised & directed this early startup public charter school; managed a start-up team of 12 teachers and administrators and managed a $1.7M budget.

May 2000 to M.O.M.I.E’s TLC February 2013 Washington, DC Sabater’s 8-20 CV, p. 2 Co-Founder & CEO. Conceived and developed this dynamic new child development model for at-risk children. Responsible for growing organization from a budget of $10K to over $500K.

May 1999 to Community IMPACT! July 2001 Washington, DC Senior Community Organizer. Implemented a youth development/community leadership initiative for DC; supervised staff of 5; distributed $250K in grants; & managed budget of $90K.

September 1996 to CEED Youth Leadership Organization May 1999 Washington, DC Founder and Director. Developed & implemented this youth development organization for at- risk DC teenagers around food security. Supervised staff of 3, raised and managed over $100K.

January 1993 to Delights of the Garden June 2002 Atlanta, Ga and Washington, DC Co-owner and Manager. Co-organized & managed an entrepreneurial vegetarian restaurant.

June 1992 to Free Form Academy June 1995 Atlanta, Ga Co-Founder & Principal. Envisioned & developed an innovative school for at-risk children. Managed a team of 3 teachers and administrators.
