« AN ICONIC JERSEY FOR VILLA »

Kappa®, historical brand in the sport world for more than 40 years, unveils Aston Villa’s home and away kits for the 2019-2020 season. Two kits loaded with history, symbols and iconic graphics that come to nurture this first year of partnership.This season sees Kappa® teaming up with an historical club, Aston Villa FC. The two iconic brands join forces.

While the Villa pre-season tour in the USA is ending tonight with a game against Major League Soccer club, Minnesota United, AVFC and Kappa® are unveiling the new outfits for the 2019-2020 season via the social networks of both the club and the brand. The KOMBAT™ jerseys that will be worn by the Villans for the new season 2019-2020 have been designed in close collaboration with the club, combining the DNA of the brand, elegance and technology, but also the history and the identity of the club. Players will benefit from these KOMBAT™ jerseys using GARA technology, the spearhead of the « performance » ranges of the Italian equipment manufacturer. HOME KIT The material of panelling of the claret on the home kit represents the stadium’s famous red brick and has the emblem of the Holte End within the neck line. In terms of details, we note the presence of a V collar, the emblem of the club in 3D silicone on the left side and the « Omini » of Kappa® in white on the other side. The home kit will be worn for the first time this evening by the likes of , John McGinn and new signings , Frederic Guilbert and Wesley in the friendly game against Minnesota United. The shirt will be accompanied by claret shorts and blue socks.

AWAY KIT To keep the iconic theme, the away kit design features the famous Villa Park gates across the body, represented by an emblem within the neck line. The shirt will be accompanied by white shorts and white and claret socks.

ON-SHOP You can find all Kappa® x Aston Villa FC products in the official club shops as well as on the website kappastore.co.uk from tomorrow. The away kit will be available in a few days. Third jersey will be revealed next month.
